Version 1.4: moved script file for convenience
After using Zonelets for a while, I decided that it's more convenient to put the javascript file in the root folder. I defaulted to more of an organized approach initially (a separate "scripts" folder), but based on how it feels to navigate through Neocities in particular and the general simplicity of Zonelets sites, I think that this is a smoother and more beginner-friendly approach. I'm keeping the CSS in its own folder though, since you don't have to update that as frequently, and you're more likely to want to keep around multiple CSS files for convenience.
If you're using an old version of Zonelets and would like to make the switch along with me, first move the script file to the root folder (on Neocities you can do this by "renaming" the file and removing the "scripts/" from the beginning). Next, unfortunately you will have to edit each place where script.js is linked, removing "scripts/". Even though this sounds like a huge pain in, in practice it only took me like 5 minutes to update all the pages and posts on https://marinakittaka.com/. Let me know if you run into any difficulties, and remember to back up your work!
